They have walked away from standing up for the citizens for quite some time now. Should have called out government, courts, governors, mayors, political parties….the evil, sick policies and laws and regulations long ago. They use to do the food pantries, counseling couples, pitching in to help families or children … during the hard times and crisis, help finding jobs and ways to help families who were struggling…use to be the community and leaderships in these local churches and so on who were called on to “set the moral standard of this Nation”.

Our church and many others are currently being helped by Pacific Justice Institute to file for a restraining order against the State of Oregon for violating our religious rights. Stay tuned. As a fellow full time minister, I cannot find anything I take issue with you about. Nothing. The Holy Spirit has released me to speak what’s been on my heart about this since mid-March. Our response has been weak, innaccurate and completely ineffective. We should have stood together from the outset and kept the church doors open. Instead we have innapropriately used scriptures about “submitting to authority” as a cover for our fears. There is no shame nor condemnation. Jesus bore that, too, but there must be correction.

You are 100% right. The Churches should have been one of the first to stand up against this evil. We need our Churches to fight back and sue, you cowards, I’m ashamed of you
