I did not retire from law enforcement, I resigned due to obligations I now regret so very much. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. That is now one reason I will stand up beside women who have been abused not just physically, but mentally and verbally as I was by the man I believed loved me. When people around you try to warn you about some one, listen to them, it could be the best decision you ever make. I regret nearly every day I did not, that was back in the early 90’s and you can add that to my statements as well. Thank You for the great write up. With great respect Delores Dixon
